Reconditioned "30" Gallon Natural Gas Water Heater
Part # TOT-WH-RECON
ITEM DESCRIPTION: PHOTO IS NOT THE ACTUAL UNIT AND IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY.
These are either a 28, 29 or 30 Gallon Natural Gas Reconditioned Water Heater. Various Manufacturer Brands vary in stated gallonage 0n this size water heater however all of these 3 sizes above are considered to be a 30 gallon water heater industry wide. Most "30" gallon gas units will be 16" diameter and around 60 +/-" tall.
Fully reconditioned residential water heaters that have been pressure tested at 140 PSI (double what most city water pressure is). These water heater tanks passed our 24–36 hour pressure test and the water tanks have been flushed clean with a 2000 PSI pressure washing unit breaking up all the calcium deposits in the bottom of the tank and flushing it plus any sand or other debris out of the tank. We use a pencil camera with an LED light to inspect the inner water tank walls for any corrosion spots or areas to make sure the water tank is in good condition. Then it continues on through our 12-step shop reconditioning process including a new sacrificial Anode Rod, two new Dielectric Nipples, a new Dip Tube, a new Brass Drain Valve, and a new T&P (Temperature and Pressure) Safety Relief Valve. Gas Water Heaters have the Temperature Control Valve & Burner Assembly removed, bench tested for proper function and accuracy and then cleaned. The Burner Chamber is cleaned and the metal Combustion Air Filter is also cleaned. The Burner Assembly and Temperature Control Valve are then installed back in the Water Heater and connected to gas again and given a final test on the bench to insure reliability and proper function for the customer that will purchase the Reconditioned Water Heater. The Water Heater then gets a new Brass Drain Valve installed and the Water Heater is removed from the test bench. A new T&P Safety Relief Valve is installed and the outer metal shell (the skin) is cleaned as best we can.
The Water Heater skin will often have some dings and minor dents plus paint scratches all of which are strictly cosmetic and have no effect on the reliability or longevity of the water heater itself. Every Reconditioned Water Heater is assigned and marked with a unique 4-digit Top-O-Texas ID number plus the manufacturers model and serial number for future warranty and phone troubleshooting support. We do not ship Reconditioned Water Heaters due to LTL Packaging Requirements. We will deliver up to 125 miles of our shop for $1.00 a mile one way delivery fee or the customer can pick up at our shop location here in Lelia Lake TX or our outlet in Amarillo TX.
We offer a 90 day warranty on all Reconditioned Water Heaters if installed by a Licensed Plumber and the installation meets the minimum requirements of the International Plumbing Code which is the code the State of Texas has adopted. Improper installations will often cause problems with the Water Heater therefore we require this for any warranty period. If the Reconditioned Water Heater isn't installed as noted here, we will guarantee the Reconditioned Water Heater for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase which allows the purchaser ample time to install the Reconditioned Water Heater and see that it is working properly. We seldom ever have a Reconditioned Water Heater with an issue as our process and bench testing insures that it's working as intended when it leaves here.
